Thanks for dropping by my humble little website. I’m just a simple guy and a lifelong New Englander who helps people buy and sell REAL ESTATE in the OCEAN STATE (that’s Rhode Island, in case you didn’t know). My team also serves Massachusetts as well!

As a full-time REALTOR® for over 2 decades, going the EXTRA MILE has been my default setting. I’m told that I’m a little outside the box, and that’s seemed to serve me and my many clients pretty well over the years. I enjoy mixing time-tested tactics with cutting edge technology, but my daily mission is usually all about finding the problems – and then fixing them before they stick.

Clarissa Hernandez is a Providence native, fluent is English and Spanish, with an extensive knowledge of all neighborhoods in the Capital City and beyond.

Clarissa prides herself on helping people and has over a decade of experience as a Rhode Island REALTOR®.  She has overseen real estate transactions from one end or the state to the other and always looks forward to putting her enthusiasm, organizational skills and hard work into motion on a daily basis for the benefit of her clients!

With a background in the non-profit sector, where she spent much of her time helping people unravel complications that often occurred due to language barriers or lack of knowledge, Clarissa’s nature is to find the problem and fix the problem. She currently sits on the board of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Rhode Island, as the Secretary, and she’s also a Member of the RI Education Collective.

Clarissa loves nature along with exercising both body and mind. When she’s not busy hustling houses or donating time to her non-profit work, she enjoys creating new experiences and memories with her beautiful daughters, whether going on scenic walks, dining at their favorite local restaurants or anything in between. Art, dance, and all sorts of music have always been a part of Clarissa’s passions, and every so often she’s known to belt out the occasional power note from some of her favorite songs.

John Prak-Martins is an integral part of The Donnie Bennett Team, here at BLACKSTONE/OCEAN PROPERTIES. John is an active father of 4, a loyal husband and a huge asset to our office. Besides being fluent English, his Cape Verdean heritage has blessed him with the gift of a second language – Creole, also known as Kriolu – which helps him to communicate more effectively with the ever-present Cape Verdean members of our Rhode Island community.

John is also a great listener, which is a very important reason as to why it’s so easy for him to understand the needs of others. It’s also a very important reason why he’s so skilled at helping his clients reach their goals.

John and his wife spend their off-time with their children, traveling, exploring local cuisine, indulging in the arts and taking advantage of new learning opportunities for their entire family as much as possible.
